Tennis trader

Rating: 3.2 out of 5 based on 5 votes.

The tennis markets on Betfair are some of the most popular. Quite often several million is wagered on one match.
One major reason why traders love them is that there are often huge price swings during matches, creating ideal conditions for trading.

There are many different ways to trade tennis, most of which I wasn’t familiar with, and so I was very interested when asked to review an e-book on tennis trading.

I’d looked at tennis markets on Betfair before and, as my knowledge of tennis was limited, I never really became involved with any decent stakes.

The e-book I was asked to review is called “Tennis Trader”. It claimed to reveal everything you needed to know to become a successful tennis trader. Of the many such e-books I’ve seen, 9 times out of 10 they rubbish or worthless, and so I was rather sceptical of “Tennis Trader”.

The first thing about this e-book…it not the longest, only some 25 pages.
”Tennis Trader” is also protected by a program called “virus vault”, which I wasn’t keen on as it was time-consuming to open the e-book. However, after opening, the content is surprisingly good. It explains all the different types of the trades you can enter into, and how you can benefit from different situations. It also describes how the different types of court – grass, clay, artificial surface(s) – can influence trading styles.

For example, on grass, with two evenly matched players, the points often go with serve. You could take a position just before serve knowing the odds will drop if that game goes with serve. (Naturally it doesn’t always work out this way, or we would all be seriously loaded.) There are other gems in this e-book, which I won’t reveal here as it that would not be fair on the author.

I have no doubt that an experienced tennis trader would know most of the information in this publication. However, if you are just learning to trade tennis, or are new to Betfair, this e-book is a good starting point. It has certainly made me more confident in my tennis trading ability.

Overall? “Tennis Trader” is a good publication that will provide you with all of the basic techniques needed to become a tennis trader. It speeds up the education process and, long-term, will save you money. Like anything else, the only way of learning is by dipping your toes in the water and seeing – and understanding – how markets react to different events. I would rate “Tennis Trader” at 9.5 out of 10. To purchase, please click on the link below:
